Transport Forum

With the federal election campaign now in full swing Voices of Warringah is continuing our series of events on key issues within Warringah. Your second most important issue was transport, particularly more public transport,  congestion and the impact that the Beaches Link Tunnel will have on our environment. You would like more information on the alternatives, and the business case – so we have organised a transport forum.

Join us on 2 May 6:30pm at Balgowlah RSL and hear our four panelists share their expertise and knowledge on this significant issue!

Dr Michelle Zeibots, a Research Director of the University of Technology Sydney Institute for Sustainable Futures. She is one of Australia’s preeminent researchers on transport systems and has spoken strongly against the Beaches Link Tunnel.

Cr Sarah Grattan, a councillor at the Northern Beaches Council, who has advocated for the implementation of the Beaches Tunnel Link and for improvements to our transport network on the Northern Beaches.

Dr Peter Abelson, Economist and ex-Mayor of Mosman will discuss the business case of the Tunnel.

Lucy McLelland, a resident impacted by the proposed Tunnel and a member of Viable Transport Solutions, a community group advocating for major changes to the RMS proposed design for the Tunnel.

Please RSVP HERE.

We look Forward to seeing you there!
